Chris Goulopoulos, P.Eng.
Chris
Goulopoulos has over 25 years experience in increasingly
responsible positions in the electrical utility industry with a large
Canadian utility.
His work with the electrical utilities sector includes
power generation, power systems operation, system
integration, commercial energy market operations,
transmission, and local distribution. During
his career, Chris has held a series of increasingly
responsible positions as an engineer, supervisor
and manager. He has a proven record of
effectively leading, contributing to and delivering
results on business objectives and the bottom line.
These positions have included leadership
and management for the delivery of IT services,
project management, engineering, and consulting
services. He has held major roles in:
a) designing, implementation and commissioning
of control rooms, energy trade floors, data centres
and telecom/network solutioning,
b) establishing large-scale IT outsourcing agreements;
c) restructuring/negotiating cost reduction for
3rd party license and maintenance agreements;
and d) benchmarking of IT Services.
